"Credit Where It’s Due: The Force Feedback Is Solid"
The force feedback feels good overall. It’s strong and gives you a nice amount of detail most of the time, which makes racing feel a lot more connected. Some cars can feel a little off or weird, sure, but I think it’s only fair to give credit where it’s due, for the most part, it does a really good job.
"Safety score feels overly harsh"
I barely tapped something and my safety rating took a huge hit. It feels way too punishing for such a small mistake, and it makes me wonder if there’s some hidden fee or penalty system they’re not being upfront about.

"Too frustrating to stick with"
I went in charged up to try this, but wow, the learning curve hit me hard. Everything felt way harder to figure out than it needed to be, and after a while I just gave up. I’m not worried about updates or anything like that, I just couldn’t get into it

"I was surprised by how much there is..."
I was surprised by how much there is to choose from. There are tons of cars and tracks to try, so it never really feels boring or repetitive

"The engine sounds actually feel real"
The sound design really makes each race feel more alive. The engine noises have a nice realistic feel to them (especially when you’re accelerating), and it just makes the whole experience way more exciting...

"I mainly got into iracing because everyone..."
I mainly got into iracing because everyone talks up the driving feel, it does come close to what I was hoping for. The cars behave in a believable way most of the time, especially under braking and when the tires start wearing down.
That said, I did expect the grip loss to be a bit easier to read. Sometimes it feels like the car is fine one second and then it’s already gone before I’ve had much warning. Could totally be my setup or just me still learning the limit, but that part wasn’t quite as natural as I imagined.
Even with that gap between what I expected and what I actually felt, it’s still the sim I keep going back to. It’s not cheap, and it’s not flawless, but compared with the others I’ve tried, it feels the most serious, consistent, and rewarding to drive

"Graphics are honestly solid"
The cars look really sharp, and then the tracks kind of surprised me too because they feel realistic. I kept noticing little details while driving, then got distracted by how good the lighting looked. Overall, the graphics are just really good.

"I've been jumping into the online races..."
I've been jumping into the online races often, and they feel really good most of the time. Lobbies are usually clean, people race fair, and it just feels smoother than some other games I've tried, but.....

"Runs really well after a few adjustments"
After spending a little time tweaking the settings and updating my drivers, iRacing has been running much smoother than I expected. I still notice the occasional FPS dip during packed races, but overall it’s been a solid experience on my PC. It’s not absolutely perfect, but once I dialed things in, the performance has been genuinely impressive.

"Really Enjoying the Racing Setup"
I’ve had a great time with how the series and splits are set up. It makes the races feel fair and competitive most of the time, which is really satisfying. The schedule can be a little frustrating here and there, but overall the racing is fun and the competition feels solid

"The racing itself is really good and I’ve..."
The racing itself is really good and I’ve been having a lot of fun with it, but I’m not gonna lie, the settings took me forever to figure out. I was a little embarrassed by how long I sat there tweaking stuff before I could actually start playing properly. Once it’s set up, though, it’s a great sim.

"I have a good time with iRacing once..."
I have a good time with iRacing once I’m actually driving, but getting to that point can be more of a hassle than I’d like. The website and UI feel a bit messy to me, and I sometimes have to click around too much just to find a race or change a setting. It’s not a dealbreaker, but I definitely wish it felt smoother and less clunky

"I haven’t had a ton of time..."
I haven’t had a ton of time to really sit down and write this out, but the community has been good for the most part. Most people are chill and willing to help, especially newer drivers. Races can definitely get a little tense sometimes, but that feels normal for sim racing. Overall, I’ve had a good experience so far
"Servers keep dropping me mid-race"
I signed up expecting clean, reliable racing, but the servers keep kicking me out in the middle of races. Got disconnected twice tonight alone, and it just feels like a total waste of time and energy getting set up, focusing, and then being dumped out for no reason. Really frustrating at this point.

"Great for league racing, hosted can be hit or miss"
I’ve been using iRacing mostly for league racing, plus a few hosted sessions with friends here and there. The league tools are good, and once everyone is set up, it usually runs smooth for the most nights.
Hosted races can be a lot of fun too, but sometimes you get driver who just doesn’t take it seriously, and that can mess up the whole race fast. I don’t really blame iRacing for that though, it’s just one of those things.
The only reason I wouldn’t give it 5 stars is because the cost adds up quick with cars and tracks. Still, the actual racing is really good, and for league stuff especially, it’s been a great experience.

"A fun race turned into a frustrating lesson"
I was actually having a good time racing until I ended up dealing with the protest system. After one incident, I filed a report thinking it would be handled fairly, but the whole process just left me confused. It felt like the outcome depended more on who was involved than what actually happened. Then when a penalty came through, there was barely any explanation, so I was left trying to guess what I had done wrong. I reached out to support hoping for some clarity, but the reply felt really generic, almost like a copy-and-paste response. The racing itself can be a lot of fun, but this side of it makes it hard to trust that everyone is being treated the same

I tried it in VR and got pulled in right away. It felt way more real than I expected, and I kept forgetting I was just standing in my living room. I really loved the experience.

"Track details feel a bit off"
I like the overall vibe, but yeah, some of the corners still don’t feel quite right to me. It’s not a huge deal, just something that stands out while playing.

"Matchmaking feels fair"
Been on iRacing for a while now, and the skill rating system works better than I expected. Usually get matched with drivers around my pace, so races feel competitive instead of just getting smoked every time. Can actually see the rating move when I improve too, which is satisfying. Makes the whole thing feel more fair and a lot less random

"Good sim, but the costs add up fast"
I’ve had a good time with iRacing overall. The driving feels great, and the online races are usually cleaner than what I’ve seen in a lot of other racing games, so I understand why people stick with it. The subscription isn’t too bad if you catch a deal, but after a while the base package starts to feel limited.
What really got to me was having to buy extra cars and tracks on top of the monthly fee. If you’re racing all the time, I can see it being worth the money, but as someone who plays more casually, it got expensive faster than I expected. Personally, I think it’s a solid service, but not one I’d call great value unless you’re fully committed.
